What are the countries who have Carbon Taxes?

Let’s put some light and know which countries have Carbon taxes or which country would likely introduce Carbon tax in near future. Presently there are number of countries which do have it.

It was introduced in Australia in July 2012. The price of carbon is $23 per ton produced. Mostly the top 500 in the list of maximum polluters in the country will see themselves facing huge costs if they don't switch towards green energy or try to offset carbon footprint through various green activities and programs.

Meanwhile consumers at the other end, will not have to face the price and its increment. They are not directly affected by the carbon tax but they will perhaps be affected by the raise in prices of goods and services and energy supplies will also probably grow.
